Who’s that on her beautiful Quarter Horse?? It’s10 year old Makayla F. from
New Hampshire – our newest SuperFit Kid’s Allstar!!! It’s fair to say that spending time with her horses is Makayla’s most favorite thing in the world…she has two, plus one pony!! One is shown in gaming and the other in hunter flat classes…the pony’s her pal. The stables are where you’ll find Makayla as she works with her mom to train her pride and joys. She’s also in there doing a lot of the heavy stuff too…she feeds and cleans their stalls – and lifts hay bales and unloads grain all by herself. Congrats on being so strong and responsible Makayla!
Does she slow down when not riding her horses? No way!! She loves bike riding , soccer and ice hockey too!! Figureskating is another one of Makayla’s cool winter activities.
Learning is important to Makaykla. She and her brother are home-schooled and can snack on healthy fruits and veggies all day long! Food allergies are not a problem for Makayla – she makes Ian’s herself! She’s a super hard working student who is overcoming dyslexia and doesn’t let it hold her back. Her mom says she works and tries really hard – and that is what counts. Right on Mom!!

Let’s hear it for Olivia R!! She’s the Superfit Kid’s team newest book allstar! Olivia is a six year old first grade student who enjoys lots of superfit activities. She stays active with both soccer and dance. Working hard in school doesn’t slow her down…after school you can find her playing outside with friends, drawing, listening to music and of course – reading books! The “Froggy” books have been some of her favorites. Olivia says that “Froggy is so funny”!! We think so too! This young reader also recommends the Henry and Mudge stories because they “have colorful pictures, and the writing is nice”. Her current favorites are the Junie B Jones series that she likes to read each day with her mom. Spending a lot of time in your car??? Olivia suggests getting books on CD from your local library – they are superfit fun for riding, and help pass the time. What a great idea!! Keep up the awesome work Olivia…and always remember to be Superfit!!!

Introducing Alex R. from
Milwaukee, WI !! Alex is a super busy seven year old who is our latest ArtAllstar. He sent the SuperFit Team the neatest watercolor paintings of flowers, butterflies, and bugs. The colors were just awesome – and he did a really neat abstract project too!! Alex is one super talented artist who loves to work with paint and clay – or just about anything fun and creative.
When he is not in his artist’s studio, Alex doesn’t slow down!! He loves to play all kinds of sports – football and basketball are his two favorites. Tae Kwon Do is another superfit activity he’s involved with…in fact, his goal is to be a black belt before the end of the year. Way to go Alex!
To Alex – school is cool! He’s a whiz at adding and subtracting…can multiplication and division be far behind??? Alex is going to add to his collection of Magic Treehouse Books by doing some reading this summer too. He loves homemade pizza, and pasta is one of his other favorites. Hmmm and artist that cooks!!! Love it!

Emma is an adventurous girl who loves the outdoors and all it’s curious creatures – including bugs!! She hopes to plant a butterfly garden this spring so she can have many colorful visitors. She even collected caterpillars on her own, and watched patiently as they became beautiful butterflies. That is so cool!!!
