Paper Plate Flower

What you will need: A paper plate, construction paper (different colors), glue, and scissors.

1. With an adult's help, trace your hands on your favorite colored construction paper at least 10 times. The tracings can overlap. Do this on three different colored pieces of construction paper.
   
2. With an adult's help, cut the hand tracings with your scissors.
3. Glue the circle of handprints around the outside of the circle. The fingers will be the petals.
   
4. Glue the second circle of handprint tracings. Make sure the hands are facing outwards for each section.
5. Glue the third circle of handprint tracings at the center of the circle.
   
6. On a separate piece of construction paper, cut out a small circle and glue it to the center of the flower.
7. Show your pretty flower to your friends and family!
